The annual °®¶¹´«Ã½ gala plays an essential role in providing need-based scholarships to talented students. Thanks to generous supporters, 78% of °®¶¹´«Ã½ students receive scholarships and financial aid—our goal is to ensure that cost is never a barrier to an excellent education for aspiring artists and designers.

California College of the Arts (°®¶¹´«Ã½) celebrated long-time supporter and trustee Jack Wadsworth as the 2024 honoree at its annual gala, which took place Thursday, March 21. The event raised over $1.24 million for student scholarships. Organized by co-chairs Stanlee Gatti and Kimberlee Swig, attendees celebrated Wadsworth’s impact on the °®¶¹´«Ã½ community and his commitment to arts and design advocacy. The gala also paid tribute to Stephen Beal and his transformative leadership during his 25 year tenure as provost and president at °®¶¹´«Ã½. San Francisco Mayor London Breed and other notable leaders from major art organizations came to show their support for °®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s impact on arts education.
